Chirp!Chirp!

Chirp is an app for iPhone, but can be used on iPads as well. (Just remember to search in the app store under iPhone apps.) It can be used in the classroom to pass out a web address you would like students to visit without posting it on your classroom website.  It omits a "chirping" sound when sending a link to students.  You will need to iOS devices in order for this to work for you.  Open up the app and both devices.  On the teacher device, simply add a note, link, or picture you want to share quickly and click the Chirp Icon.  It will automatically produce a sound that the other devices will pick up.  Once the devices find the address, simply click and go!
